Dietitian educates kids and families on PAK Nutrition component - including lessons on Go, SLow Whoa Foods, Portion Sizes, Label Reading and More!
Day: Fridays ONLY from 5:20 - 6:20 PM
Time: 16 hours total over 8 weeks (9 hours of onsite nutrition education and 6 hours administration management, prep and supply shopping.)

The Dietitian executes the nutrition segment of the PAK PLAN on Fridays during the 8 week PAK session. This person will be dedicated to delivering a consistent and proven, integrated health plan for overweight children.

They will teach 8 different nutrition lessons to children and their families with the intent of educating them on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Changing behaviors is a difficult job and the dietitian must be effective at discussing all elements of food as it relates to overall health and wellness.

The dietitian purchases the snack each friday which is reimbursed through invoicing.
The dietitian role occurs on Fridays from 540-620 over 8 weeks. There are also hours allocated for snack purchase, prep, and other admin duties. This is NOT a full time job.

The Dietitian will:
•Execute PAK nutrition segment (lessons and all associated handouts provided onsite) on Friday (540-620 pm), for the 8 week session
•Lead the nutrition segment of the program for kids providing guidance and encouragement
•Purchase food needed for Friday nutrition lessons (expensed through PAK)
•Educate kids and families on core PAK Nutrition principles using PAK

all pak dietitians are trained by proactive kids nutrition partner nces and will use the proactive kids nutrition curriculum. view nutrition topics here. all supplies, food models, handouts, and more are provided onsite for dietitian.

•motivate parents and their children to make healthier choices through nutrition education
•bring your own personal touch and experience base to help kids and parents learn to live a healthier lifestyle
•Act as a knowledgeable, supportive nutrition expert to the group through email, text or preferred method of communication
•Guarantee a friendly and inviting environment to maximize participant experience

•Degree in Health or Nutrition
•High Energy / Enthusiasm and able to direct a classroom of about 50 kids and parents
•Must be feel comfortable talk about about weight loss
•Must have strong communication skills
•Child health/obesity experience a plus
